Mehri Zamanbin

Mehri Zamanbin was a PhD candidate in the CAPABLE project and will defend her PhD thesis in June 2026, which focuses on centring the experiences of marginalised and/or minoritised working carers and parents across Europe. Mehri holds a BSc in Political Science (focussing on Gender and Sexuality), and an MSc in Social Sciences (Research) from the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests include social inequalities in the labor market, the politics of belonging, and studying the construction of identities in the media.
