CAPABLE – Enhancing Capabilities? Rethinking Work-life Policies and their Impact from a New Perspective


Catalina Ganga León BA (intern February-May 2020)

Catalina Ganga León has a bachelor’s degree on Psychology from the University of Chile and is a student of the MSc. in Social Policy and Public Health at Utrecht University thanks to a scholarship she obtained from the Chilean government. Her research interests are associated with the social psychology of work, specially job insecurity and care work in neoliberal societies. In her analyses she incorporates the feminist perspective to understand the intersection of oppressions that structure work and life. During 2020, she joined the ERC Capable project as an intern, assisting the work of review, systematization and analysis of literature regarding several European work-life balance policies.
